I hit rank 32 and have been looking for armor pieces to make me look even more awesome! I am trying to figure out if there is still a way for me to get the T1 Lair helm?

When your friends/guildies level new alts, ask them to take you there (as a chicken).

all items IMO should be to buy for gold, so anyone can buy em for new look or for use it in rvr.
we should be able to do more funny thing with our characters

I don't think that is the answer and it won't matter once we get into T4 but maybe giving a few more options for helms would be nice. The low level engi ones look AWFUL!

The T1 Lair boss helms have the same appearances as early T4 sets (Annihilator/Ruin). If you miss your opportunity in T1, just be patient for T4.

some not all; its a mix
for example choppa bq is annihilator
chosen, mara and zelot is sentinel
