Return of Reckoning

Apparently account creation is not possible at the moment. Me and 2 friends tried it, worked for nobody. The error message is

General Error
Unable to remove files within ./cache/. Please check directory permissions.
Please notify the board administrator or webmaster: [email protected]

after filling out the registration form

I tried logging in and it gets to the shaken hands part, then stops working.

Any recognition that there might be an issue and you're working on a fix/it might take a while/new accounts are currently not a priority on the list?

No its not. Thats why a news about this bug ( and how you can solve it) has been posted 3 hours ago...
