Just found out that returnofreckoning.com may be selling your private information to a debt scammers as per the whois lookup and location based search of the company http://800notes.com/forum/ta-63eff336cf ... t-scammers

It looks like you guys are either IT idiots and do not even understand the concept of a whois lookup or what it is or I am Jesus...

What is this about? Can someone translate it for us(ordinary peple)?

Azgal you aren't fooling anyone. We can see the date and time this profile was created. This kind of behavior is just reinforcing negativity towards you and defacing your reputation even further.

WHOIS is the way that you look up the company that hosts the website.

These details say that the server is hosted in America and the second ones, say that according to the registered company address, these guys are farming your private information and selling it to debt scammers...

I am a **** software engineer, this is childsplay for me, come on any developer back me up here

What personal information excatly would they be selling? As far as I know, I only gave out my email to this site and it is already recieving a **** ton of spam...

They have algorythms to pull any private information out of your chat messages and use your email address against another algorithm to profile you... It is classical stuff
