Talisman limitation on gear with more than 1 talisman slots

I'd really like it if the limitation on using more than one of the same type of talisman on gear with more than one slot would be lifted.
I'm not sure which patch it was on live that introduced it, but it didn't make sense then, and it doesn't make sense now, because it puts an unfair disadvantage on classes that can't dual wield. And now we may actually be able to have it reverted!
If you don't know what I'm talking about, you used to be able to use, for instance, two intelligence talismans on a staff with two talisman slots.

I agree, specifically because it does actually discriminate vs players who use 2H weapon. I'm at least glad they allowed 2 slots, tho, as I know of several games that don't do that sort of thing.

Why would you slot 2xintel on a sorc instead of mixing it with another talisman? It's not like you notice the difference with one +22 intel less.

You already have renown points to add to intel on your staff. Put a wounds tally instead so that you survive for longer than 2 seconds...
It's fine as is.

Agreed, never understood this limitation. Dual wield is already better than 2hander in several regards, and changing this (if possible, ofc) will raise much less problems than dealing with any other aspect.

Even though it might not be the optimal choice to use two of the same talismans, Sulorie and magter, it would still be nice to have the possibility to do so, instead of having an arbitrary limitation on two handed weapons.
