Return of Reckoning

When I try to login using RoR launcher as admin it waits for about 20 seconds and then finally loads up warhammer but won't let me make a character or anything like that.

Getting this message from RoR launcher:

I created one a few mins ago, now i cant make another.

now I can..

I can only see the "cinematic" "credits" "settings" and "quit" buttons.

Been looking through these threads for over an hour trying different suggestions, still can't seem to find anything.

Like I said, I've read the other threads.

However, my folder does keep putting itself back into read-only mode. I change it back before every time I try but if anyone knows why it would be switching itself back let me know.

EDIT: apparently the read-only box on my folder is fine according to google searches.
