Return of Reckoning

I was able to eventually log in today after a few hours of trying, to then discover my weird helmet is missing. Is anyone else missing items today? I've heard of this happening to others in the past. Does a server restart usually resolve it?

Yes and no...

Crap shoot really... sometimes a reboot will solve it and other times you are just out of luck....

Happy hunting. Oh and no the Devs/GMs will not restore your lost items under these or just about any other circumstances.

Thanks for the input, and to the devs for keeping war alive.

The item is still missing after the server restart so I presume it's a loss. It's unfortunate since it was better than the devestator for a defensive tank.

A guild member is now missing a t3 influence item he can't reaquire without rerolling.

Perhaps we should hold off on accepting influence rewards until this is addressed.

It is unfortunate that items could be gone forever.

My horse escaped from the barn and I just can't seem to find him anywhere.

Update: So, I logged back in and my horse is still MIA, had to buy another one. Luckily made a few gold from the auction so I could afford it lol.

I have a few questions.
1.What causes items to disappear?
2. What can we do to lessen the chance of losing an item?
3. Is it possible for devs to fix this bug?
4. How high is fixing this bug in their priority list?
5. Will they return really valuable items like devastator helmet if you can prove with a screenshot you had it?

I highly doubt that. Sets the door wide open for other hard to obtain items to be refunded and frankly it is a waste of time is what is technically a playable alpha. Lets hear what the devs have to say tho! And sorry for your loss.

1. Database is not stable.
2. Crafting bags might be an issue, clean them. Does gear go missing from your bags? Maybe unequip important items before logging off.
3. Yes, anything is possible to fix. Once we find the exact issue. This should not require client modifications.
4. Rather high., but not the entire team is responsible for an issue like this. Other work will continue.
