Return of Reckoning

we hear a lot of rumors about the t3. it's said that inventories will be empty, and gold too. I understand that the gold exploit have hurt the economy of the game, but for those like me who have played for a lot of gold and talismans, the punission can be a tough.

Order economy is all over the place. There needs to be a gold wipe, just like before prior to t2 release. If anything, people should be grateful that their crafters are not getting reset also.

well for starters it happend in t1 and now t2 so what makes you think the gold exploiters will not do it again in t3 really think about it...... its so sad that ppl are doing this

And why do the majority of us decent players have to be penalized because of a few ass-hats?

I can accept a wipe when going from Alpha to Beta, but for every release of a new tier, that is painful on crafting.

Consider T3 going to Beta then.

Majority of "decent" players have a lot of gold due to the "indecent" people buying everything off the AH. Besides, why does it matter if you can accept it or not? You're not paying for the game.

True! And I spout that line a lot in chat to the whingers complaining about lag and such. But the thought of having to grind all the mats for all my crafting alts after another wipe sucks the fun out of the game. I never cheated, I never bought or sold any dodgy mats/talis/items on AH, but like others, we'll get whacked because of these little kids.

They should just reset all these cheaters characters to R1/RR0 with no items. You can't effectively ban them, they'll find another way in. Just keep hitting them with the character reset button. How long could you keep playing if your character got reset all the time?

What about levels?

You're missing the point. Are you going to ban/reset everyone that was indirectly affected by the gold exploit? There's plenty of people who didn't exploit, but are loaded with gold due to having all their AH sold. The easier solution is always to wipe the gold.
