There is a merchant in the IC that requires 2 Long-Forgotten Tokens as the purchase price of his items. Does anyone know what these are and if so, where they are gotten?

Nope, I've done forgotten which tokens he is requesting.

These are pocket items, trophies, or capes if I remember correctly. You got these tokens by completing certain ToK unlocks, and you could cash them in for items that would (sometimes) trigger a cosmetic animation or sound effect.

I see. So nothing to be done until if/when the Land of the Dead is an option.

When I first read long forgotten token I immediately thought of the LoD world boss.
But now I'm not sure

ToK unlocks - Bestial tokens
Colossus - Torn Page of the Liber Mortis and Sacred Funerary Masks
rest of Lotd - scarabs, anks

Cant rememeber anything that used Long forgoten token back on official

When lotd comes i hope that none of the broken stuff like crit/pocket items will be added

They are for epic alternate appearance items but it isnt implemented yet.

I don't recall these Long Forgotten tokens in the Live version, but from your statement, this is something we should expect to see (at some point)?

You're referring to the Bestial tokens, which can currently only be spent at the trophy merchants in a capital city's library. The Long-Forgotten tokens seem like custom (?) tokens which will be used for the cosmetic armors once all their shops are introduced.

You can't acquire either of the tokens as of now.
