Return of Reckoning

Well, no matter what I do the game just crashes my computer. Updated drivers, redownloaded the game (I use the torrent), checked my temps, have the game in compatibility mode for windows 7, turned off one of my monitors to prevent from putting to much strain on my gpu/cpu, I've tried all of these and nothing has worked. It used to happen after about an hour of playtime, but now it happens in about 1-5 minutes. I have a GTX 570, Intel i7-2600 3.4GHz, and a dual monitor setup. One monitor is a 144hz monitor and the other is a 60hz, the 144hz is my main monitor where I play warhammer, and I have 16gb of ram. I'm really not sure what it could be from here. I really hope someone can help me.

Corrupted game files seem likely. Redownload from the torrent if you can, I find it to be far more reliable.

I've actually done this, I used the torrent two times. That was my first idea actually.

which other program do you use in background, also you may want put an exeption on youir antivirus for war.exe, sometimes antivirus try to acces files they suppose not and client defend by crash.
Also dont run compatible mode, win 7 can auto try to solve problem related to program not responding.
Also when it crash? on first loadng / on char menu?

Skype, mozilla firefox, spotify, steam. Those are the only other programs in the background, and I do not use an antivirus so that wouldn't be causing it, nor do I have windows firewall on. I turned compatiblity off, only tried it once to see if it would work. It crashes randomly, during gameplay. ONLY during gameplay, when I'm in the world. And it's also not the game crashing, my whole computer crashes, my monitors go into power saving mode, and my sound stops working in my headset.

I still need help with this.

Not much to do here. Sounds like you covered most of the basics. It's not like game crashes are reported back to the server in any meaningful way that we can investigate and correct. You've got some strange incompatibility that most of the players in-game do not share. I would be interested to find out what that is, but it really isn't worth the investigative time unless it's affecting several other people.

Alright, guess I'll just wait for my new computer that I'm building. Thanks for the help I guess.
