I know these things can be fun, and I know keeping things fresh and fun is part of the whole point....
... but this screams "Hey, let's add to the already big server lag issue with billions of chickens..."

How exactly do chickens add to server lag? AFAIK the only thing you can do as a chicken is peck your opponents. If anything, there will be way less stutters/lag if everyone is a chicken.

When it said "zombie chickens everywhere", I assumed they added tons of chickens all over the place... not "players as the chickens"...
... so yeah, my post is moot and I probably should have logged in to see it first

Oops.
The Whole idea was based on Halloween so that everyone can get involved its where you can have hopfully 600 people as chickens fighting each other. Spawning Chickens everywhere wouldn't be fun fighting. This is an RVR event to it must take place as Everyone as a Chicken.
The Guilds on live always hosted this with a small group of people and that was fun to go down just to kill lowbies as 40 Chickens. As the server is balanced out with levels it will be interesting to see a Chicken Zerg going around in T1.
