Return of Reckoning

First off. got verry happy when i found return of reckoning. have missed this game alot

Vas thinking of trying it out again and i did play BO and Chosen when i played this game.

But now i was thinking about trying a dps class. Marauder or a choppa. so now to my questions

1: How are they? any big buggs on any of the classes

2: wich one seems to be better overall?

3: which one is most played of those two?

The definition of "better" is relative

choppa's deal much better pure dps and infact deals the highest pure dps than any class in destro mara deals less dmg (i believe that a test was done on npc dummies that showed that they deal 30% less dmg)

but the thin is choppa are melee glass cannons that are reiant on dedicated guard + healer to reach their full potential while maras are fine running solo

the thin is mara is going to get nerfed/tweaked cause the class is very strong but choppa is gonna get buffed nd will only get stronger

the 2 classes are played about the same

Thanks i think i go for Mara. i kinda like their offhand mutations

mara gets nerfed/tweaked to be made more i line with other mdps > becomes not as strong as it was on live > gets weaker

choppa > tweaks/buffs to aoe treee > becomes stronger than it was on live > gets stronger

make both. see what you like.

Mara seems to be played more. at least i see more Maras than Choppas

The thing is, in almost any envinronment, every single MDPS won't do jack without heals and guard, Marauder included. Every MDPS is reliant on heals and guard to do well.

true but due to the inherent nature of choppa mara is more durable with monstro armore pen ignore and deadly clutch leech heal and furthermore their are very few classes who are better 1v1 duel

The Marauder is definitely better in 1v1, although a lot of classes can still beat a Mara in a 1v1 duel. They are more durable, but honestly not that much. Both the armor pen ignore and leech tactic are overrated for durability, they give you a boost, but it isn't nearly as much as people who've never actually used them think (the armor pen is more of a boost, but it also makes you useless at the same time, it would be like if dropping rage on your Choppa also greyed out 1/2 your abilities).

Well i think i shall go with Mara. I kinda like the looks of them and the ability to change mutation.

But might also end with me going a tanky one like BO or Chosen. but i will try out the marauder and see
