Winds of Insanity

Hi there,

I was taking a look at zealot abilities and found this damaging ability that looks really cool and original: "Wind of Insanity". Maybe its a useless ability, but I'm really curious. I'm not thinking of rolling a dps zealot (I hear zealot sucks big time at dpsing) but I'd like to toy with some tools and see how they perform in some very specific situations. It might be fun to watch melee guys come at you and be knocked back once and again every 1.5 secs while you damage them and heal yourself with the 50% direct damage to health tactic.

I have a somewhat specific question, maybe some zealot expert can help me: Is Wind of Insanity a channelled ability? It doesn't say "channelled" in the tooltip, although the description and 6.0 cast makes it look very much like channelled spells like Storm of Ravens or Chaotic Agitation. I ask this because I kinda hope it isn't chanelled, and therefore can't be interrupted.

Another question: After casting Embrace the Warp your spells can't be set back for 10 seconds, but I guess they can be interrupted. Am I right?

Like I said, I don't intend to play dps zealot, buy the possibility of turning all healing stats into dps stats with a click is enticing and I'd like to be able to, once in a while and in very specific situations, fight back. So Any tips on zealot damage abilites will be welcome :)

Thanks.

Wind of Insanity is not channell skill and while active you can cast spells but root you at one spot. If you use FM at some point the root element got removed and you can have the knock back active and still moving around. The range of the kb is not so huge so most mdps could use some skills to hit you tru that.
Embrace the Warp works as you decribe it. The thing is that it is a blessing so it could be stripped away and got quite big cd time.
zealot dps is mostly lol aoe support dps without real single target focus. It could be good for orvr cos it can apply easilly healing debuff on multiply targets but beside that is useless
