Return of Reckoning

Hello I played Warhammer Age of Reckoning starting at launch for a long time, however with college and a subsequent move and then job in a different city I lost time and when I was able to get back to it the game was canceled. I looked for free servers here and there but couldn't find any unfortunately when the game came down and I popped in every once in awhile to check to no avail. I recently started playing Blood Bowl 2 and since it is a Warhammer game it reminded me of the fun I had with Age of Reckoning so I decided to google servers again and lo and behold I found this site!!!

So with that background I just have a few questions as I get ready to download the game Sunday (will be out of town til then) and jump back in.

What is the player population like? Is it possible to even play public quests or is the server pretty barren until you hit end game like a lot of shards for other games (including Everquest) are?

Also in what state is the game would people say, rough, decent, good, great? Just want to know what to expect when I load it up if there are big bugs that will make me go wtf but are known.

Also how is the PvP? Is it all just the zones or are there any of the matches that took place back in the day?

I still remember the moment when I too realised that WAR wasn't dead. It was such a joyous feeling.

Welcome back friend. The player population continues to grow every day. Last night we were close to max. Public quests aren't progressing to later stages atm, however you can still gain influence for a given chapter if you want to grind out the rewards. End game here is Tier 2 only, T1 can get empty, but it can also get full in a hurry.

The state of the game is great from what I have seen. Bugs are around, but the devs are squashing the major ones such as the melee combat issue. Pvp is Pvp, zergs and complaints abound.
