Return of Reckoning

I've been missing Warhammer Online in a major way. The game had it's problems to be sure, but the things that it did correct were groundbreaking to say the least. Many MMO's since WAR was released have mirrored several aspects of this game in their design decisions over the years. RvR, keep sieges, public quests, etc. etc. the list really goes on an on!

I was just rewatching an old pvp video that I made back in my Warhammer Online days and in the related videos I saw a video called "Return to War". I started watching it and realized that FINALLY a private server for Warhammer Online exists!!!!!!!!!!! I had no clue about this. I am really excited about these efforts and hope to see this community grow and develop through time!

I am downloading the client right now, and hope to be joining you all soon! I used to play a Shadow Warrior, but I might switch that up and play something on Destruction, being that I see Order is slightly more populated right now. Still undecided!

Wow that's a super old video. Must have been the first few months of WAR, definitely when SWs were seriously underpowered. Great Vid and welcome back.

Thank you everyone! Glad to be here. Already leveling up on a Zealot. Not sure I will stick with this as main, I am really tempted to go Squig Herder to play my old Destruction mirror from Shadow Warrior.

This was definitely recorded after about 3 months from launch! Good memory! SWs were underpowered at end game, but while leveling up if you were specced into skirmish and were good at kiting, I'd say it was ok. I annoyed many players back then with my cat and mouse game! However, end game was a different story, and SWs really did suck. I had a hard time sticking around for long after attempting to play end game and constantly bugging Mythic to fix the class. I did create a few other characters back then and leveled them up a bit, but overall I was disappointed because my main was so lousy and I had already put in so much effort.

Regardless, the game still made a huge impact, and I still carry very fond lingering memories!

That's pretty funny because I just came accross your video yesterday. I was looking for SW gameplay on live days since I mostly played a heal and wanted to learn some more about this class. See you in game !
