i open rolauncher and it does not select a server just opens game character menu w nothing but the background and music, does not seem to connect to a server nor does it give the server selection button

after i click login from the launcher it opens the game , after the loading screen with the war symbol it doesnt load anything but the background and music , the buttons at the bottom for video/audio options and such

Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue to which no 100% working fix so far has been found. The following could work, but are not guaranteed to.

1) Make exceptions in your firewall
2) Disable any anti-virus that might be blocking the launcher
3) Set RoRLauncher to run as administrator only
4) Use a VPN such as Hotspot Shield, with the server set to London
5) Try following this suggested fix by a player
6) Rebuild your performance counters using this
(If unable to do so, type in lodctr /e:PerfProc)

If no error message pops up, we are at a loss as well. We will most definitely try to find a fix for this and ensure that new players are able to go through the installation process smoothly, but for now we have no idea what exactly causes this issue. I hope one of the solutions above will work for you. You can also try searching the forums in hopes of a working fix for you.
