unzip fail

Hey I am hoping someone will help me figure this out. I had this game loaded up and working on a previous computer that died. I updated to a new machine and now I can't get the client zip file to extract properly. using 7zip (and a bunch of different programs I get the same results) it says : "can not open the file as [zip] archive. is not archive"

again, I did this before through the 10 file download and it worked fine, so I know the file is good. why won't it recognize the client as an archive?

Once you have the collection of zip files, you only need to unzip the first one. The rest are fragments that will be added automatically.

I have all of the files (z01-09 AND client zip) and it is still not unzipping the client folder.

also as an alternative if I tell it to just right click then "extract all" files to the program(x86) folder or anywhere else it says "the same volume can not be used as both the source and the destination" even though they are clearly different locations on the drive

Try extracting to a different drive, or a different folder. Should work fine.
Also, get WinRAR/WinZip/7Zip - The built-in Windows archive manager has issues with split files.

You need to use 7-zip. Windows zipping tool does not handle multi-part extractions.

Right click and open with 7-zip File Manager

You should see the WAR folder, drop it somewhere on your drive.

Brand new Win10 PC? You're gonna have some other problems to deal with. Win10 doesn't come with DirectX 9.0c or the Visual Studio C++ redists. Let's get past the unzip step first though.
