Medallion Drops Post change

So, I've been a little out of the loop recently, busy with work. I'm a little confused as to what the current drop method is for Medallions and if the ~lvl 26 PvP Armor Set is still available for purchase in-game, although idk if I'll ever be able to purchase any, 100 medallions for a chest piece is a little unattainable for the amount of time I have available to invest in the game.

Our group earned I think around 10 defending mandreds keep tonight. A few of us have 2, and a 2 of us gained 1.
I have no idea how many people we killed.

okay, so gaining 2 or so a night, even 10 a night is much too slow for me to realistically expect to complete the set. Oh well

Drop rates have to be reasonable without aao.

I've been playing all night.. a good 7 hours +.. doing orvr with the odd scenario ( which doesn't count obviously) and I haven't seen ANY drop tonight, at all. Neither had anyone in my group.
