Trivial Blows

Hello,
With the incoming implementation of renown points, there will be access to Trivial Blows which is a game breaking RR ability imho. It was out of control on live and it’ll be out of control here too. The reduction of such a huge amount of critical damage will completely destroy the viability of exactly those classes which are already weak in terms of group pvp while it will increase the effectiveness of the top tier classes even more. Proper group fights will become endless due to a retarded TTK while it weakens the “casuals” at the same time. You can’t except everyone to play on point or with the most fotm 2/2/2 setup i.e. double slayer/double mrd, that’s just lame. Exactly those groups can already ignore like 65-70% of the casual player dmg and just face tank triple their number. With TB that situation will become even worse and it will totally destroy the fun of those players which already have a hard time against premades… the game will become incredible modest for premades and the need for a good group synergize will sink drastically since you can just face tank everyone and their mother.
It will also force everyone to spend 45 renown points just because there is nothing else which is comparable when it comes to effectiveness in PvP. That won’t create a lot of space for any other renown ability and would turn the whole system into a one way street.
I and I are sure a lot of other ppl too would love you guys for removing that BS or turn it into something different. I’d love to see some more flexibility when it comes to renown abilities and the system as it is, is pretty cool if it wouldn’t force you to spend more than 50% of the whole renown points we’ll ever get here for something which is game breaking.
Do the math and see how much dmg TB will take out of the game.
Before TB:
1k non crit
1,5k crit w/o any modifier
2k with 50% modifier
After TB:
W/o modifier it will end in 1250 (16,67% reduction)
With modifier it will end in 1500. That’s already 25% (!!!) dmg reduction which is totally nonsense and definitely not needed in a game with a insanely strong guard system.
A sorc/bw with 100% crit dmg will end up loosing 30% dmg (2500 before and 1750 after TB). That's so huge
Just remove it and create the room for the “cool” renown skills such as the activations and don’t kill 80% of the dps classes ig by implementing TB. I’d like to see everyone playing with specific renown points they like and not with the fotm bs everyone has to get.
