Return of Reckoning

I have several different characters that I am looking to take into solo, namely bright wizard, slayer, and black ork. I know these classes aren't optimal for solo, but this is more of a personal challenge type thing to try and succeed on "hard mode". The thing is I haven't seen many of these players in game (for obvious reasons), so I came to the forums looking for advice/guides or someone who is willing to help me with strategies, gear setups, etc. for these classes. Anyone who I can DM in game who would be willing to help or offer some guidance would be great too? Thanks

Dude you choose the worst classes for solo at all, only sorc and BG is worst, lol. I mean they hard for solo even in BIS gear on 80+rr, but on low lvl... You will start to hate humanity after few weeks of trying, trust me. Especially if you dont have enough expirience in this game.

Shameless self advertisement here, but i have solo clips from BO and Slayer with builds included. They are fairly recent too so should be compeletely viable. Just google daewuurs roaming bits or solobitz and yiu should find them easily

Also right now deyotar and wildheart have been active and both run solo slayers.

Shabty has bw clips tho i cant recall if build was included or not

I play both my Slayer and my Sorcerer solo, and trust me: you’re going to cough up blood, my friend! But your fights will often be epic, and you’ll have the advantage of being underestimated. Practice, perseverance, and keeping your nerves under control always pay off eventually. Pick your fights carefully, and steer clear of the posers who call themselves solo roamers while playing ego-specced hybrid classes.

This is kind of my goal. I know I will die a lot, and I don't care about dying. I just want to have some successes after my failures, and to me that feels good. How do you choose what fights in particular to take on your slayer and sorc?

Thanks! Looks like slayer 2h is the way to go now? And for BO have you tried sword and board at all? I guess 2h is necessary to take down dps healers? (if possible). I'll need to check out shabty too.

Hardest thing for any solo class these days is to find any fights. Hats off to you for wanting to do it with bw/sl!

I know but that is kind of my goal haha. I know I will die a lot, but that is ok. I don't care about dying or dominating. I just enjoy having some small successes after many defeats (which have been the case on my bw).

It's gonna be more than hard mode, brother; it's gonna be ultra-nightmare-hardcore+++ mode.

Roaming on my BO, I didn't care about dying either, as it was always worth grinding through the deaths for the good 1v1 fights. The problem is that after the healer and MDPS patches, it became non-stop dying for an increasingly small number of 1v1 fights, and those 1v1 fights were mostly against classes that were paper to BO's (dirt)rock. This was a good while ago; I've heard the lakes are even worse now.

In the end, I realized I wasn't having fun anymore and stopped roaming. Sure, you'll get kills, and you'll still occasionally get a good 1v1 fight, but the time investment for so little reward stopped being worth it. The game has left BO behind for solo (S+ tier group class though).

I wish you the best of luck out there. The best tip I can give is to roam during off-hours, when the lakes are quieter. Roaming around prime-time is nothing but pure masochism.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and check out Pahakukka's channel. That will give you all the solo roaming tips you need.

I havent even thought of that... But then I still roam so there definetly is something off in my head... Will fix the signature, but cant help how the head is
