Can't trade Aged Triumphant Ring for the new one at vendor

Hi there, I have an issue with the Aged Triumphant Ring.
I want to trade it at the dedicate vendor to get the refund and buy the new one, but the old ring have turned in a purple item and the vendor don't want to buy it. So i can't get the crest refund to buy the new one .
Also, i have exactly the same issue with the Aged Victorious Ring on another character...
Any help possible please ?

Just make sure youre trying to buy the correct version. Afaik there was different versions for the replica and "real" ranked rings.

Well, the problem is not about buying the new Triumphant Ring (i could if i had enough war crest). The problem is i can't trade the aged one to get the war crest refund (from the last patch). The vendor don't want to buy it has it turned, for no reason, into an untradable purple item.
So no war crest refund...

Yes I meant make sure youre selling/buying the correct one. It might be that you have the replica ring and youre trying to trade it to the non replica ring.
Basically you have
Replica Triumphant
Triumphant
Replica Victorious
Victorious
Hopefully this made it clearer what I tried to say earlier

the item that you got for trading in your ring, you need to open it, it will give you containers that give you back a total of 10k crests
It's not a direct trade basically. First you get your war crests back, then you buy the new ring

Problem is : I can't trade the ring, it's an untradable item, the triumphant vendor doesn't want it back. So i don't receive any item to open from him.

The ring must be unequipped, and is used as currency to buy the correct box from the vendor. It is not sold to the vendor as if it were a trash item. Find the correct box from the vendor's inventory and buy it. You will be prompted to trade in your old ring for it.
