[PTS] +25 talismans, poll and feedback

Hello,
With the new chase endgame item in Pure talismans (+25s) introduced on PTS. I would be interested to see where the community lands on the pricing, and the direction of adding this into a Gold only or pve/pvp mixture shopping price.
Please be honest with your vote, dont feel you need to vote with the masses if its a landslide. Argue your points for -or against below if you wish.

I tried to summ up my thoughts about the previous topic from the roadmap annoucement in this video where I try to see it from what the devs are trying to do with this system, the selected prices and what it does to the game modes, gameplay loops, and if any of the game systems were in need of an increased bump in popularity and rewards. Feel free to disagree with me on any points I bring up or any argumentation I used! I dont want to be right, I just want to know what the community feels about this topic as I personally suspect this is a leading trend we are seeing taking yet an other milestone of trying to "force" pve on us. When pve is already good enough, appealing, used, and not in danger of running out of players useing it. With more furture pve content to come in T3 dungeon, LOTD PQs, Mini tombs, TOVL, Citysiege 24man PQ raid we do have a strong line of PVE content coming this way and the current direction and mindset about PVE rewards strongly worries me. But am I the only one?

Alternatively having the resource for +25s coming from Warcrest -> Champions Mark conversion could be a way of handling this. But I strongly suspect this would go directly against the current Pve dev mindset.
An other way to could be to have a currency needed which is unlocked from a Citysiege win, LOTD round, Fortressd or maybe Keeptake (pvd danger)
Or salvaging Rare Fortune pieces, so farming move mobs on your own is more of an all-year thing and not just during Twilights tide. This would be more of a duo or solo parttime gameplay addition to the game more so than running dungeons with a full team.

This is a group game
This is a hybrid PvP & PvE game
Hard truths cut both ways

I think the Champion's marks requirement is way off base. I do run PvE because it's the most efficient way of gearing while leveling and the cost of Sov gear requires that you save your war crests anyways.
It's not hard to get Champion marks but the idea that you're constantly pulling away high end players into PvE is not good. The reward of having +10 is just not worth it for me. City/LOTD grind would be more acceptable

No issue with that, truely.
But right now the "endgame" "chase" item can be purchased on the marketplace from farming scales in BC solo as one of the best gold/hour methods.
To me, theres not much chase item over that. And it doesnt solve any need or trafic issue of the game. And based on the votes so far, theres not many players gonna chase it.
So what is the +25 adding, or solving that the game didnt already do just fine?
If the devs want RoR gearing and rewards to return to seperating currencies and gamemodes, then having these sellable somewhat goes against it, no?

+1 main stat per 1k crests + champions marks + 100g. Idk, i feel like its such a small increase for such a big price. If it was meant to add progression for the 80s, then it doesn't feels like a meaningful progression to me. I would rather like to see more of fashionhammer options as a progression - cosmetic sets, skills animation, effects or whatever else that displays your achievements.
As of pve pivot, i fear that the main reasons devs are focused on pve path so much is that PvP changes being somewhat of a toxic topic within the devs team. I don't like pve in this game, its just bad and junky in every possible way. I don't mind it to be supplementary, like the means to get some sets that enable some kind of offspecs or some particular setups, but pve as a the means to do main progression for character is a bit too much, imo.

The question is "what kind of content should BiS 80+ characters be encouraged to do?" for me, the answer is definitely NOT dungeon speedruns.

WAR is a game where PvE and PvP go hand in hand and support each other. Requiring +25 talismans to use a combination of currencies from both types of content makes sense to some extent, while also offering new challenges to all players.

Considering the time investment and currency cost of acquiring even one of these talismans, I imagine they will be priced on the AH even higher than the first-year Twilight Tide rings. I highly doubt that getting them purely through the AH will be practical for anyone other than the wealthiest gold farmers.
The point of these talis is that they serve as an optional cosmetic, as +1 stat essentially functions as a cosmetic reward. For those who choose to grind for them, they will earn a rare reward to showcase on their gear. Those who choose not to pursue them won't miss anything that significantly affects gameplay.
Personally, I would have waited until city was reworked and used new city currency rather than warcrests, and had the PvE currency tied to BS+ dungeons so they're truly endgame. But as something like that would've got even more pushback, this is a nice compromise between being too hard and too easy to obtain.
As for the whole
"No BiS through PvE" thing. No disrespect, but I feel this is just
"balance the game for solo play" for veterans. AoR was a hybrid PvP & PvE game, and just like the game being balanced around groups, the devs have said they see RoR as a hybrid game. If all the solo players that post endlessly about solo balance are told they're not interacting with the game properly as they're not following the dev's vision, then the same applies to the players that don't believe they should ever have to do PvE because
"this is a PvP game".

Agree with that.
The PvE part is included anyways, because you need a +24 talisman, wich comes from pve allready. Like i proposed before in the other thread, imo the best way would be a simple split. Just generate 2 items with different costs:
PvP item = Warcrests + Genesis / SC crests / city crests
PvE item = Wartokens + CM
This way would satisfy everyone and nobody would be forced to focus on PvP or PvE against his preference.
The way it is right now, it will just lead to a huge gold rush for people who enjoyed PvE anyways, and have stacks of CM allready, wich they will sell for insane prices in AH. So i will probably skip it. I just cant see myself run lots of PvE speedruns, only to get +1 statpoint. And spending tons of gold just for a +1 bonus simply isnt worth it.
