I would suggest maybe just increasing base xp gain to +50% or even +100% as a base or lowering xp to level or even both.

That is my suggestion anyways.

Yes, if you run PvE you can level fast, but people do not play games like RoR for PvE.

you will get too large gap between rr and xp lvls, what leads to bad experiense in rvr for new players.

uh thats bs you'll get reknown levels wayy faster than you'll ever heave the crests for the gear. Most people just pve to lv any way and save for sov cause of this.

there's not an actual real reason to have career levels in the game currently other than "thats the way its always been"

I'd say make it an option, have the fairy/lucky gobbo scrolls give 200% exp instead of 50%. So its there if you want it, but i think you should also let players slow down their exp gain too.
