Return of Reckoning

Okay I am returning from a long hiatus and am looking to play again. Couple of questions. First I play NA EST times so what is the population like destro vrs order. Second what roles does each side lack? (guessing heals and tanks like all games) Which of the tanks and healers are good and bad currently? Thanks in advance for answers.

Warrior Priest #1

Tanks are always in high demand, both in PvE (which you will do at some point) or in RvR.

From easiest/simplest to more complex:
- chosen / kotbs
- bo / am, if using the addon (can't remember the name)
- bg / ib

Healers are also in demand. I don't think they differ too much in terms of complexity. I'll tell you instead about their off specs and flexibility, from the most flexible to the worst:
- RP / zealot: you can use one equipment for both DPS (magical, ranged) and heal spec, and be very efficient in both roles. You just use a toggled ability and swap mastery spec. Of course, specific equipment will provide you a higher efficiency, but the point still stands, these are the most flexible classes atm and also among the best soloers.
- AM / shaman, you need two sets of equipment for DPS (ranged, magical) and healer
- WP / dok, in theory you need three sets of equipment for the three specs being backline healer (book / chalice, willpower reliant), frontline healer (shield, strength + defensive stats reliant), DPS (melee, strength+ offensive stats reliant). In practice the shield spec is used only in some specific contexts (small scale, scenarios) and only by a very limited amount of players, being considered underperforming by most (and unlikely to receive fixes in the short term given the other priorities of the moment).

DPS classes are too many and I think it's better if you decide by yourself by playing them a bit.

As a NA Est player, play a Tank or a Healer.

My suggestion: KotBS or IB. For healers, Play an Warriorpriest.

I was under the assumption that IB and the BG are mirrors. Everyone has told me in game BG are bad so wouldnt this make IB bad as well? Also why is the SM below KotBS and the IB ?
