Return of Reckoning

Hello everyone! I'd like to ask you a question. Previously, I used Madcap weapons to craft +23-24 talismans, salvaging them. This granted me 7-12 purple fragments per run. Now I noticed that the quality of Madcap has been changed to a blue level, which means that this farming method is irrelevant. Are there any other ways to get purple gear for salvaging, or will I have to rely on luck with loot?

Salvaging armor drops from bosses and the repeatable quests is what I've been doing.

You can still get too level talis from GB, even if now it's just from gold bags. Other than that you go for dungeons. LV is fantastic for this, you get a couple talisman guaranteed per run (weapon and cloak), more if you get lucky or if someone passes on their armor tokens.

When I salvaged a load of Red Eye gear a couple of weeks ago it gave blue fragments not purple so you can't even get the best lvl talis from gold bags any more

Just this week I at least thought I got purple fragment from Red Eye gear. Will try to do again soon.

Tested it and you do get purple for Red Eye, so purple talismans.

They nerfed purple bags is all where madcap = 200 purp frag ~20g value, now is blue rarity and you will get more taking the gemstones (10g).

They also retroactively nerfed bags which is dumb. I had probably 60+ bags in the bank (purples) that I would just salvage as I needed the fragment. They all got turned blue.

I'd guess a salvager lost something like 50g per gunbad run due to the changes.
