I already said hello on the "Introduce Yourself" page, but I felt that I should give my thanks here as well.
(And also, in completely unrelated news, I'm stuck waiting for my client to download).
I loved WAR. It wasn't my first MMO, but it was the one that made me love PvP and teamwork. It made me happy to play both an over-sexed doom bolt flinger and an ugly green lump of shi*t with a shield. It made me realize that healing could be fun, and kicking them 'right in the jibblies' could make you lose because you were laughing too hard to pay attention.
I've been looking at the boards here, and realizing that there is a pretty small and tightly-knit community here (and also some whiners/complainers that make me feel like this is def an MMO forum) and I Really look forward to meeting you all and reliving the game that I loved so well with faces that I will get to know and see often.
That said, thank you so much to the War-Emu team and everyone else involved in this project, and a big hello to my future friends in the community, and I look forward to getting in fistfights with you, in the kindest possible way. And sorry about the groin kicks.
