Return of Reckoning

I will get straight to the point.

I am a returning player that has not played since live.

I’ve managed to get to RR63 within less than a month.

I’ve noticed that once you hit level 40, you are then thrust into the same bracket as some players who are rr80. This is just not fair.

My suggestion is to create RR brackets for different levels to help balance the scenarios.

55-65, 65-75, 75+

What is the point of an average rr group level of 65 going to do against an average rr group level of 78+? Nothing but get wiped once and sit inside the safe zone… Absolutely boring and ruins the fun of SCs especially during events which we are forced to engage in if we want the rewards. Premade you say? Good luck with that queue time if more than 2-3.

Seems like a very simple fix to solve a lot of imbalance issues regarding SCs currently.

Would you rather wait 10m for a balanced SC or 2m to sit inside of safe room or watch the other faction do the same? I’d much prefer to wait a little longer for quality SC RVR.

I understand this won’t fix all the issues, but it will create a more balanced landscape for the 40 bracket and not deter so many people especially new players from queue up for scs because of this reason alone. The goal is to continue growing the player base? Improve balance with the only other way to gain renown besides ORVR.

The bulk of the population is orvr players that want to afk in a warband without any clear semblance of coordination or strategy and they often bring the same attitude in scenarios.

The devs already tried their "best" to balance scenario teams with the same archetype configuration for each team, with the result where half the matches u lack a tank or a healer in your group and are left as an easy picking to the more coordinated players.

The server lacks the population to balance scenarios in brackets and the players themselves lack the understanding of the fundamentals of the game to coordinate, because there is no drive to learn.

And fundamentally the problem lies both with higher level gear being very powerful and with the players that choose to queue for scenarios in bad or lower tier gear configurations.

We’ve just had a very successful matchmaking patch. SC plays amazingly well now.
The only thing that would help SC further is disabling SC barriers and adding well-placed WC champs.

What you’re suggesting would result in, given our current player base, only one SC match per day—or even less frequently. On the live server, there wasn’t such a division, but the game played great because there were no SC barriers.
