How do rune priests scale into the end game? Are they completely outclassed by Warrior Priests by T4?

Skilled RP > Skilled WP
Regular/bad RP < Regular/bad WP

They senergize well together, WP cleansing and stabilizing the group and RPs keeping bursted targets alive. RPs also get the tactic later that increases outgoing healing that makes WPs do their job even better

RP, cause WP is only for nups like druin and noise.

Both are needed for a proper premade...6man...group...

You are going to be a full time healer on either one, pick the one that helps your healing game.

RP - Very fast heals, mostly heals and aoe heals.
WP - Tank wannabe with heals.

You decide!

RP is the better healer, and is probably more fun to play.

WP brings important things like group cleanse (and their cleanse burns through sorc stuff), and the best group healers in the game, good buffs and utility etc... and have much more options in building their defense.


Like Penril said, RP has a much higher skill cap as well.

IDK the problem with RP cleanse is it includes ailments, which are I believe the most common debuff? The WP only deal with curses and hex, and don't have to deal with getting through ailments to get to the sorc stuff. Granted it's a 5 sec cd and endgame w/ the tactic even 2 wp spamming group cleanse cant get to the WoP. But they can cleanse through CW debuff.

If the sorc is the only one on that particular person the RP will be better at cleansing for sure. The main thing is WP has a group cleanse, which is I believe a big overall advantage over 1 cleanse per GCD on the RP.
