Return of Reckoning

Hello all !

I am so happy that WAR is still alive - Yet in 2008, I wanted to play this game, but than it was too expensive for me...

Now I just started to test the game and WOW - the population is great and there are always people for RvR, BG and so on!

Now to my question. I think that the title says it all. No matter the game, I always love to play with the class/hero "misfit" in every game that I try (MMO, MOBA, shooter, so on.. ). It's cool to master the class, which no one wants to play and to PWN some n00bs with him


So plz, tell me in your opinion witch is:
1.The class(classes) with the most difficult mechanics ?
2.The least played class in the game?
3.The most needed class in the both fractions ?
4.The overall "misfit" class in the game?

1. No comment, since I haven't played all classes and my answer would most likely be incorrect.
2. Probably for Destro Magus or WEs. For Order? I'd say WHs or Engineers.
3. I'd say just tanks and healers in general are always needed.
4. I have no idea lol.

- Magus, fragile as hell, very impopular for the moment and very little people understand how serious business a Magus can turn into at the later tiers. Some people even think they can't do anything big, but they're wrong.

1.) Tanks: IB -> BG
Heal: Shaman -> AM
DPS: Mrd ->
2.) Magus -> SM
3.) None
4.) None

On Order we are always on the lookout for dedicated tanks!

Well... It's hard to say what class is " most difficult" because this game dosnt have skill shots or anything and all classes need to know stuff like positioning

Their are 2 suggestions I can offer though: white lion because of how terrible the pet ai is so you have to struggle or wrestle with the ai to make it work and be effective

The other suggestion is ironbreaker/blackguard simply because of how many variable and useful abilites those 2 classes have that it can be overwhelming


Now I don't know about Ordo but on destro the most underplayed class is magus because it's not strong at this stage of the game.


Their is no real "need for a class" any more as most classes are pretty well represented

Ordo used to need tanks and mdps but they have plenty of kotbs ib and slayers now


Sword masters are kinda under represented but the devs will be buffing them soon so their will be more of them soon

I don't really think any class has a hard mechanic to deal with it.

I'd say Magus and Swordmaster.

Tanks and Healers.

No idea.

There i corrected that for you

Swordmaster and Magus I'd say is the least played don't know why though I own with my swordmaster

because what you do is nothing special, what ever you can do IB and kotbs can do better and provide more to grps and more importantly slayers and fotm bw's
