Return of Reckoning

I dont usually come to forums but for this game and what I've felt, I had to express my opinion.

38years guy here, played lot's of these games, Wow, Guildwars, Legend of Mir, Diablo etc ... When the game came out back in the days I bought it, but so many bugs that it was impossible to have a good experience. Now it camed back and I decided to have it a go.

After one week, I am leaving the game ...

- Toxic community at least on the order players, tried to make a public quest for 4 times in a row, needed to kill a boss, every single time when I was on the last part some guys high lvl will come to finish it off, that would be ok of they group people, it's a game to play in group but it seems many high lvl dont care about it. It was frustrating like hell.

- Interface, like quests, like people to go, information is scarce it's easy to get a bit lost, like when they say go visit someone, and just that, you have no idea where to find the npc sometimes.

- The game is PVP oriented and that's ok but even in that, PVP areas are acessible to all lvl's, so a mix of people want to lvl up vs people high level end game gear etc.

- Graphics, it should have been improved a little so far, bugs like hell, like the first cd copy.

But community was what make me go away from it.

Perhaps someday if it's stays on and more people play and if the gameplay is also improved, maybe I will return, until there naaaa....

You were unlucky to encounter such people.
I am sure that at the same time, someone else encountered completely different people who devoted their time to him, explained things to him, flew in to kill the boss, gave him gold for his mount, etc.

We have a cross-section of the entire society here.
There is a lot of toxicity, as in any PvP game.

But we are here regardless of specific people, because WAR/ROR is still the best PvP MMO (perhaps only DAoC can compete).

I hope you will give us another chance and try again in the future.

This is not helpful for community. If you want to play then play, if you dont then dont complain. This is private server and developers doing their best. If you looking for better graphics(lol) you can try valorant.

You can try to group up for quests and pubic quests, dungeons and rvr. It is not always about the others. I prefer solo sometimes too but often recognize helpful players carry groups through dungeons or other PvE. There is a live event running and other players were looking for groups to complete stuff in /5 all the time. Just try it and don't blame others.

Just a quick reminder to those those that are doing the Live event tasks around PQs.
if you go to the lower tiers and just need the participate or completion from the PQs and there are low level players doing them. Opt out of goldbags to let them get the loot for their levels.

I've done it on the few characters over the last couple of events, and throwing them an invite and typing "hi" "thanks for group" costs so little, but gives so much!
