Return of Reckoning

Greetings. I played WAR back at launch, then was sad to see it go. Life happened, wife/kids/work, but in a good place now to get back to gaming.
I loved the PVP system in this game and that is what is drawing me back.
My son and I are now playing Warhammer the old world table top, so naturally I'm coming back to get some pvp action!
I'm active in the evening mountain standard time NA, so looking for direction either order or destru for active players/guilds.

Character wise I have played everything in WOW - tanks, healers, DPS, and played an IB and Choppa live in WAR.
Eventually I'd like to get into RvR, which was the most fun previously, but also wanting to find an active group of NA English speaking players.

I've been researching Reddit, these forums, and Youtube on what is most valuable in guilds and it seems like tanks/healers are most sought after but would like to hear thoughts on that.
Rebiff's WB tier list provides good guidance.

I'm curious if Order or Destru would be best to play for active NA times.

It's not letting me send a DM on here because I'm not "active enough" yet.
In general, I'm thinking that I'll level up a few different classes to see what is enjoyable.

I decided to give both order and destru a try leveling up a few characters.
I'm not really feeling tank so I went mdps and heals.

WL/AM on order
Choppa/Shammy on destru

Looking forward to getting some time in on these and enjoying the game again.

Names of you classes? I might want to keep an eye on you...

I've been playing both Order and Destru classes in T1 now for a few weeks to get a feeling for classes and play styles.

AM/Shammy have been enjoyable.
Chosen/BO/KOTBS all have been enjoyable as front line pushing tanks.
Choppa is fun but without heals/guard it's painful.
Shadow Warrior is enjoyable and kiting is rewarding when melee gets greedy.
Squig Herder is fun and the pets are cute .
WL seems powerful and has been good.

I would like to try some other tanks, and leaning towards SM to see what their 2hand is like.
Overall the most fun has been - WL, AM, Shammy, Chosen, KOTBS, BO, SW, Squig Herder.
I enjoy melee and being up in the crap, but standing back shooting is fun too, although from what I've read big fights are all about melee pushing so ranged classes are asked to go melee spec, like Melee SH.
I'm going to keep playing things and testing stuff but would like to eventually find a dedicated NA guild .
