WP/DOK Shield - Tank Spec, Maybe?

This spec has definitely been a game-changer; it's either too good or too bad, and right now, it's definitely too bad.
I think this is due to the fact that the class already has a healer spec and a damage spec, and trying to merge them somehow is unfeasible, based on the various changes made.
My opinion is that the shield spec should be a tank-type spec.
It would need Taunt/Skill or armor/Aggro tactics and some CC.
This is just a macro view of the idea, but I think it would be interesting.
The skills and behavior of everything need to be studied to make it work properly.

Well they just made a whole "redesign" of the shield specs, they're not going to rework them entirely again, just tweak a few numbers here and there, that's about it
Expect the spec to be the same in three years. Even if it's bad, that they've made it worse with this "redesign", they won't improve it or revert their changes, they are unable to improve the specs, as we've seen, and are unwilling to revert their changes for whatever reason

This unfortunately. Shield for anyone except tank is heresy and breaks The Trinity(Heal/Dps/Tank) as does Wh/We Getting "Charge" that is better than normal Mdps Charge is, because it ignores GCD. This is like Giving Wl 7s Insta Stealth that ignores gcd. Block is top 3 most powerful stats in the game and should be for shield tanks only, becayse Blocking alone is that powerful.
But i dont think Shield for wp/dok is going anywhere, but there did exist actual full ROR version of shield specs that were amazingly smooth and it actually solved the problem of how do i heal my grp when im not attacking enemy, and it was that version of Sacrifice that lets you move while doing dmg to yourself but healing your grp within 150? or 100ft range.
So its literally hurtful to use when solo(this is positive from RoR pov i think) and only works with Grp that Heals you as you heal them. I dont remember the cooldown of this ability but bring it back and make it 45s. Starting when you start the cast, not finish the cast so 35s if you get full 10s out of it. Same thing for RoR ability that should be also brought back, dont remember name but was 13pts instead of benediction. Benediction is okay but make it core and this 10s cast able to move while casting and it has 300 absorb for any ranged dmg and it refreshes every sec or every 2 seconds? It buffed your avoidance stats as well i think.
Every 1s sounds very good thats basically 3k any ranged dmg absorb if you get 10s. I think this had 60s Cooldown? Imo make this 45s cooldown as well, but this one starts when you finish the cast, not start the cast unlike Sacrifice.
Then the last but not least thing. Grace of Sigmar/Empowered Transfer tactic reverted back to 25% Increased melee healing + Divine Strike/Consume Essence hits 2 targets within 20ft of your target. And make those 2 extra hits spirit dmg again even if main hit is not. And usable with shield, or dualwield/2h or tome doesnt matter.
Imo all those things i mentioned are much more balanced when shield doesnt exist for Wp/Dok but because this means you have to do dmg to heal(Sacrifice is the exception, but you dmg yourself and heal grp for 150% of dmg you dealt to yourself) and when there is no shield, there is no restrictions on abilities that existed always, like Sigmars radiance/Transfer essence not usable with dualwield/2h but with shield or tome only? lol but i think this is what has happened many times
RoR does great changes, then over nerfs them to point of useless:/

The first version of dok/wp shield was absurd.
Sometimes, in ranked scs, dok/wp shield did the most damage and provided the most healing. The same was in regular scs.
Luckily, this crazy situation is over now.
I have nothing against the snb spec being playable, but if they continue to work on it, the devs should make sure that the heal vs. damage ratio never exceeds 4:1.
As for adding another tank specialization, it would require too much effort and reworking of sets and skills.
It could also upset the balance, which, apart from WL and Mara, is quite good (I'm ignoring op WE's solo regen because it doesn't matter to me in group play).
