[Suggestion] Purple seeds

In order to 'prevent' loosing purple seeds due to different circumstances connected with crashes etc
I have a suggestion to make purple seeds similar to bestial token rewards:
- when player gets purple seed, this character receives respective tome unlock
- put purple seed npc vendor in faction capitals
- based on tome unlock allow/disallow to buy back purple seed, in case of loosing original one, binded to character
I see this a good QOL feature which many people would be glad to have and potentially it could be more easier to implement this mechanism rather than fixing root cause of seed disappearance.

Did you happen to lose a purple seed recently? I want to say there was a fix put in for that many months back -- but let us know if it happened to you or someone you know in the last few weeks.
One challenge with this idea that comes to mind is that a player could purchase multiple purple seeds once they have the unlock, multiplying their output from a single seed up to four instantly. Tome unlocks can definitely work as a purchase mechanic, but they don't have any limiters that restrict you.

Cannot seeds made like jewerly slots, with "unique" keyword which can prevent them being cultivated more than one slot at a time ?

Wasnt the problem with loosing purple seeds when ur inventory was full and u logged out or crashed while cultivating? should still happen i bet, just dont wanna test it.

I lost one on destro and put in that bug report. Shame there's no way to recover the thing. Haven't played the char since lol.

If the game can gather information regarding all your bank spaces then you could do it like this:
I get 1 purple seed, I get the tome unlock 1 that lets me buy the same type of seed if I have 0 seeds in my bag, bank1 and bank2.
I can infinitely claim seeds from the respective Tome Vendor as long as that condition is met (I have 0 of that seed in all my storage spaces).
If I somehow get a 2nd purple seed of the same type, then I unlock the tome unlock 2 of that seed which lets me buy the same type of seed if I have 1 or less seeds in my bag, bank1 and bank2. So at most I can buy 1 more if I somehow lose 1 or buy 2 if I lose both.
And this repeats with Tome Unlock X letting you buy as many seeds as you like as long as you have X - 1 or under of the same seed in you storage spaces.
Would something like that be possible?
EDIT: It would also have to check current cultivations. Maybe by doing a double check every second for e.g. 5 seconds to make sure you dont spam click the vendor while cultivation starts/ends

No worries at all, have any of them reported any loss of purple seeds recently?
Or likewise, has anyone reading the topic lost a purple seed in the last few months?
If not, that's a very good sign - fingers crossed the fix from a while back is working!

I had suggested a while ago making purple seeds an exploration achievement - couldn't it be controlled via achievement check how many seeds you already have? I'm pretty sure one could add some kind of invisible token to check the overal amount of seeds on char.

I lost a purple seed recently. i pulled one out of one of those bags you can buy. It was one i already had in the inventory. It was shown in chat that it would have been an Eternal ''Red Serissa Seed'. when i looked into the inventory there was only 1 and not a stack of 2. Bugreport about it was not even looked at by now. And seriously i don't think bug reports are doing anything at all. Slayer self rezz tactic is reported to be broken since over a year now with no response at all. So i think that seed will be lost for at least 3 years or forever now.
