Would it be possible to make these available on character creation sometime in the future?

its one of the things that the devs CAN do and was discussed before but they need to know the file names for it

Would be nice to see this very rare cloaks, off hand items too

I'm pretty sure we will get those in future events, but atm there is much more pressing stuff to do.

If these "Collector's Edition" faces and items were originally a reward for a few Pre purchase people, with unique appearances to distinguish you from the herd, and now they are free and avaliable to everyone, then what's the point?

Devs could set up events in the future and give them out as rewards. Or for submitting enough good reports on the bugtracker as an incentive. Most people don't really care that we are in alpha :^).

No one official actually replied to this, so it's just guessing. Btw how should they handed out to remain "special"?

You miss my point... completely. My point was why bother coding these in? They are vanity items. I would rather have them working on actual gameplay, mechanics, and ORvR than this.

That's not a half bad idea; however, IMO everything else would need to be fixed first.. which will probably never happen
