Remove Supply Box Hitbox


There was a fairly recent patch where Supply Box Drops from players were increased and/or fixed.

Ever since that patch there's been an increased occurrence of Supplies spawning in the worst possible locations during fights, especially during certain funnel battles, blocking players from moving, getting stuck or completely unable to enter certain funnels even, due to narrow doorways and floating supply boxes in the air blocking any entrance.

If possible I'd suggest removing collision from Supply Boxes completely, otherwise if not possible, then player drops should be completely disabled as this mechanic is unintentionally griefing proper gameplay, and in a non-immersive or logical way.

agree. lot of groups will intentionally sit on a BO as it spawns boxes and pick them up and drop them at the choke too so that they can facilitate their turtling strategy.

if cannons, rams and banners are not allowed to be used to body block doorways and chokepoints i don't think boxes should either.

removing the hitbox from them solves all issues instantly with no tangible downside.

It's annoying enough when a chase gets randomly screwed by the guy in front of you spawning a box on death, but it's only a matter of time before this'll get abused on a larger scale by holding BO boxes for chokes/defs.

you cant pick a box up without it ... i mean if it was me i'd destroy them all buutttt its not up to me.

We have used boxes since eons ago to block chokes when you are behind a choke point and you are outnumbered it becomes the extra man in the fight.

I'll bump this feedback post as it is getting more attention again and it is still an issue that plagues RvR on a daily basis.

Please either revert the change to more box drops from players in RvR or remove their collision.

I think the best solution would be removing the collision of the boxes.

those box are levitating from ground not just lay on ground.

You would just change the collider on the box to a circle collider instead of a box collider, so you dont catch on it

Please remove the box collision that’s all that’s needed
