Hello further Magi enthusiasts!
I've wanted to share some common knowledge amongst us regarding our most precious disk riders.
Please feel motivated and changed :) to contribute to this reference point.

Tier 1

Stat priority: (Not necessarily in this order) Wounds, Intel, toughness
Tier 1 is not a tier you will see yourself stay in for very long. Focus on leveling and gear as you see fit. Magus is a late bloomer and twinking here isn't a priority.

Tier 2

Stat priority:

Defensive stats: Toughness, wounds, -armor penetration, willpower

Offensive stats: Intellect, magic crit, magic power

Stat beneficial to both builds: AP per sec

Talismans:

TBD

Tactics and Builds:
TBD

T1 = Glean + bane + warp + lash lash. There's usually a decent amount of healers so you'll be fine. Remove FRF from your hotbar.

T2 = Daemon requires good support and good gear, thus it's not that great here. However, Aegis + Insta summon + instability with a marauder and sorc is hilarious :> (missing rift!)

Really, we don't have good spike or sustained at this point. I'm currently Havoc because I like BoC~ You should be knocking down tank trains, staggering healers and using SoI to interrupt group heals. Keeping pand and glean on everyone creates pressure on healers (unless there's a lot, then...lol). I don't have a set rotation in this tier. Whenever focus mind is up I like to dot everyone up and either assist or pick a sw/bw/slayer BoC + Perils + SVF is fun

Edit: Don't forget to maw/snare + use ghetto knock back to peel off your healers.

You are a brave man. I salute you for playing a Magus so early on ;)

Much respect.

Nor does it feel it's coming any soon either. I do Daemonology which is meant to hit big when T3 releases.

Aight i'll play magus from now on, you happy? Bet you are!

On the other hand magus is one of the most fun classes i find, raking in the damage, just not the actual kills ;)

Hopefully the proper gear is released by then. Daemon is a really fun spec but it does require good gear to work (evil slayers) plus good support. Aggy is a fantastic healer though :D

Thank you for the wonderful replies Ren!

I'm currently specced Changing up to IFoC. Great finisher.
As you said the magus is not based on rotation but more a set of priorities.

Unfortunately, I can't get Instability to work. Most of the time the ability will trigger the gcd but it won't activate.

I believe Aza may have fixed instability. It has worked 100% so far for me. This is the best tool to peel off your healers (assuming they're smart enough to hang out by your demon) or + insta summon/knockdown the tank train. <3

Quoted from http://warhammeronline.wikia.com/wiki/Magus

Path of Havoc: Like to sit back and cast from afar? Want to toss powerful spells and never run the risk of getting hit by killing foes before they can reach you? If the answer to these questions is "Yes!", then the Path of Havoc is for you. Focused on increasing your ranged attack damage, it even comes with a pseudo-heal further up the line that will keep happily blowing those Order pukes all over the place.

Path of Changing: Do you want more fast acting mid range spells? Wish you could increase your survivability through quicker casting? The Path of Changing IS your bag, baby. Designed to increase the speed and damage of some of your closer ranged spells the Path of Changing also gives you the ability to create Uncontrollable Horrors out of your enemies (no lie, it's in there), what more could a guy/gal ask for?

Path of Daemonology: Tired of getting melee'd to death by that pesky Witch Hunter? Wish you and your Daemon had a better rapport? Well, wish no longer, The Path of Daemonology is here! This path focuses on your best buddy and your close combat abilities. Giving you the ability for instant Daemon summoning and allowing you to open rifts in the time space continuum without a Hadron Collider, This path will teach those danged melee folks that it's not nice to fool with the caster.
