Tesq, group heal goes through walls and doesn't need line of sight. Yet, every other stupid heal in the game requires line of sight to go off. Including melee heals, aoe HoT's etc. It makes no proper 'sense.' Shouldn't we change it since RoR now has the ability to fix all of these wrongs?
Word of Pain and Boiling Blood are no longer able to proc anything. The Bright Wizard College has confirmed this is a big deal. (stealth nerf)

Ok if atleast putting aside any radical changes ability or otherwise can we just atleast switch choppas don't was a live for eva with its pve hate tactic?

Slayers get their pve tactic at 33, so changing to get don't wanna live for eva to 15 affects nothing and improves relm balance in lower tiers and would give more options

It's a simple change that would help a lot if were going to be stuck here in 27 til t3

order bomb was 2x slauer due to: rampage, ID, shatterlimbs + procs spam , destru bomb was sorcs and some mara for pul.

Exactly why are group heals exempt from LOS restrictions anyway? Aren't they good enough?

I guess because it's not targeted, but they should have been. So the mechanic doesn't require it. I think Dok Group shield goes thru walls and maybe group HoT too. But they shouldn't have been if we want to be serious about pointing out game design flaws.

I don't know why exactly they are exempt, but there are already some disadvantages to group healing thru walls if that was how you planned to heal your group. I think the game is a bit more playable with some of the healing not requiring LOS, particularly in sieges/ keep defense.

Tbh it would be nigh impossible to play with LoS req for gheal. You can consider this for AoE ground runes/rituals as well as hots/shields and especially gcleanse though

My guess would be som role player had a say on this

A healer don't have eyes in his back and nor do he spin when he is casting an group heal. Therefore a 360 effecting coming from the caster obviously don't require the caster to see its target.

The question if magic can travel through walls remains.

You either view magic as "light" that can't go through walls or you consider magic to be more like an electromagnetic pulse that can. I'm guessing they went for the latter and therefore the pulse travels through walls.

Same role player probably decided that when you heal a specific target you need to look at it. The magic it self probably could go through walls but as the target can't be seen through walls it gets a LOS requirement. Also note that the caster will auto turn on cast if you are facing wrong direction as it needs to see the target.

Role players are weird breed :P

(With the same twisted logic AOE heals with LOS requirement really should have been AOE cones?)
