Variable Exp rates

Allow players to choose their own exp rate from like 1x, 2x, 5x exp rate.

just let player choose at which rank / renown rank he will start

It's not uncommon for private servers to implement things like variable xp rates, but these usually have a much more "arcadey" design approach in general. The live servers for WAR don't exist anymore, so i would like RoR to follow a more vanilla approach that keeps the progression system more or less the same, as it was on the original servers or other old school MMOS.

I stand behind this that some people tend to want the vanilla experience, but others like myself would love to be able to choose.

Then it’s good that we have weekend events. So you can choose to spam event sc for more exp than usually.

Weekend scenarios are the culprit here in my opinion. The xp gains are just insane. I would suggest doubling renown, but leaving xp the same when it comes to event scenarios.

Leveling in this game is absurdly easy, and too fast compared with renown gain.
