What is the most popular rr80 build at the moment? i plan on playing Glass Cannon. currently 5 sov 3 tri

There is not much of a choice. You either go RA, or you go Witchbrew. Just remember that RA was nerfed long ago, and Witchbrew was nerfed several patches ago (now it scales with str and is mitigated by toughness, and even with soft capped str does significantly less dmg than before).

Witch Elf - Witchbrew - from 450 to (224 + 1.5 x DB) damage

Would work this way, if it actually scaled with +dmg tactics like it did before- was hitting for 700+ before the nerf. Now however it doesn't, so even in the ideal scenario which you described it deals significantly less dmg than before. In realistic scenario, lot of time it actually hits for 200 after mitigation.

been a few years since i played. can you post the build please?

Frenzied mayhem 25% dmg + 15% Taste of Blood Stacked with Witchbrew as they should but they dont anymore, which is stupid like tactics kind of canceling eachother out:E their point is to stack and be powerful.

Change Frenzied mayhem to 15% Crit again and make Witchbrew crit again. Leonine Frenzy should crit as well espesially when Pet is the crit mechanic for the class and its 13pts pet path ability.

Witchbrew defensive build- lot of toughness and regen, at the cost of dmg:

If glass cannon, take the two +15% dmg tactics, or +15% and str if ain't close to softcap without the str tactic. Can also try Whirling Blades tactic, since a lot of your dmg is RA.

If defensive, take the absorb tactic, and last one likely str tactic.

Hey all, been levelling a WE to RR66 in full Vanq. However, I really struggle getting any meaningful kills, so any advice would be appreciated. It may be a gear issue (RR66 and all that), that I got the wrong build (def Witch-brew), or a skill issue (mains are rDPS and healer, so not too used to stealthy melee) - or all!

Running what seems to be the classic witch-brew build:

Time-to-kill just seems low, and by the time I get close to making a kill I often get over-run by Order players.

- What's the typical rotation from stealth?
- What to put my RR in?

Ruthless Assault use at 4 or 5 points.

when you hit rr70 and have enough str for 900 without brute force take bleeding edge tactic also. and gear later 5sov/4triumphant.

Your tactics are not for dps so it makes sense you are struggling to kill, use Zxuls Glass cannon Witchbrew build that is in this post just put brute force instead of taste of blood to cover for not having bis gear and you will be able to get some kills though you will die very easily. Now just pay attention to who you chose to fight

Dps am? they all almost always try to punt you after they get up from your kd so pop elixir of cauldron just before the kd wears off but the good ones will delay the punt so you need to learn who you are attacking. Avoid white lions. Dps WP? time your elixir of shadows to their heal channel and many will just die because they forget to pot, your m1 will also stop their self heal.

WH? not fun fight for me as they usually just run so I do not engage them solo. Tanks? hit them but save your kd because you call tell right away if you are able to even damage them if not stagger and leave. BW? their root will hit you through elixir of cauldron so pop root break as well as eoc. SW? try to fight in tight spaces so they cant self punt away and save eos to gap close when needed.

Engi? every one is different so just get to know them, some die instantly others I barely damage but they have every tool in the book and its always a fun fight. Healers? difficult solo if you are in the lakes as most will drag the fight out enough you will get blobbed, might be worth a try just to see if they are squishy but you will quickly know who to bother with as most will not even have to detaunt you and just walk away.
