Hello, My current take on regen specs. I know the WE in clip isnt full defensive WE, but the fight had all the elements, so i used it as example how i encourage ppl to tackle them in Solo niche.

Is that really a regen WE? She lost HP fast. Anyways the Order solution is to play the White lion, now that the pet is workable( still bugged to some extent) it has the burst to deal with regen specs before they escape or the mobility to catch them ( pet can still get killing blows/stun if they use the selfpunt + stagger ) Don't want to play an Elf? Too bad .

Ahh thanks for telling me. Being able to use abilities while staggered is obviously unintended and borderline exploit, time to fill the bug report.

You can't use abiliies whilst disabled ( obviously) but you can use it pre-emptively and sometimes it works ( since it works on the pet next attack with a 20 sec duration window).

If the WL player is experienced he can try to predict the stagger / low hp/. Now stop hating the White lion only because it counters WE

Its not a grimmshimmer regen WE, tho rather defensive anyways. Mostly used this clip as it had all the the elements so neatly lined up.

I would approach this is why do most run regen now?

You can't run to a keep without risk of some dotting ranged class. Seriously, I expect to be attacked by stealth classes but to see 5-10 dress wearing enemies dancing among the trees on every keep run, wth?

In regards in how to deal with it, you need a class that bypass mitigation, has an execute, can significantly reduce mitigation against its damage type, has a KD and mobility. Only 1 of those exists... ta da, play a WL =)

So, basically the only way to fight a regen spec is... not to fight them and escape as soon as possible, or at least before round 2.

And no, WL will not beat a full regen spec. Maybe, with some lucky crits, you can force them low but they will just press 1 button to make unpreventable escape and return to fight with full health some seconds later. Thanks to the recent patch, pet can't follow them in invis anymore.

So what we have now, half of all WE is regen and the rest just can't afford regen.

We should be careful though, I don't think they should nerf heal-over-time items until damage (crit damage, aoe cap, etc.) gets toned down. You need regen just to survive in a WB in many cases when you weave in and out.

Just do like the video suggests and run/away ignore.

Maybe add a remote for the time being, "<insert character name> denies your request, are you a healer?" =p

Yeh, this is mostly just me venting. I have no idea how things affect the wb scale really. Solo niche is heavily player driven and i just wish to see less of these grimmshimmer,3x fleshrenders+regen stalwart builds.

Sure they win most of the fights, but its more often the spec carrying the fight instead of the player itself.

i used to run very defensive engi/magus too, but now as i have ran glass cannon specs on my toons ,the fights in most cases have turned to be a lot more exciting/unforgiving/faster. Im pretty sure my gameplay has improved a lot too.

Yeh, i do get my ass handed to me more frequently, but against dps specs its more often just because other guy is a lot better player, instead of him having that extra bit of survival which we find out after second round of pots.
