Im coming back to ROR from a 3-4 years break...last time i played the rvr currency wasnt merged and there were no "wards" for gear...so i got some questions...

My DoK (rr79) was half sovereign/invader (in that time was hard to get royal crests to get full sovereign).

What should i expect when relogging on my old chars?:
-cant use the armor that i was using in 2022 because i dont have unlocked the previous wards?
-If items are removed from charcter (auto-unequipped for not unlocked wards) will find them on my bags?? even if bags are full??
-What will happen with all the mixed crests (royal, invader, etc) that my chars had ??
-I have changed my pc, its ok to copy the old interface+addons folders to avoid to setup all the addons and settings again?


I usually plays late EU...Hows the action nowadays?

You will need to re equip old gear to get the ward unlocks.

Your crests will all be converted.

And yes, you can just copy your old files over for UI, etc.

Damm, 2 questions here:
-I remember got the tome unlocks for equip the full RVR sets from T1 => invader (only missing the complete sovereign set). This granted me the ward unlocks? or i need to Re-equip (again) all the previous sets?

Pretty sure if you have the tome unlocks you'll be fine. Your currently equipped armor will just check the previous ward. If you don't have the previous ward unlock it unequips your armor.

So say you skipped a piece or two of invader (i.e. you had 4 invader, 2 vanq then started buying sov) you char would log in naked and have all the warlord/sov in your bag. You'd need to finish off the 2 vanq pieces with either bloodlord, invader, or triumphant/victorious gear which would complete the ward.

Well there is an overflow bag that should be working for situations like that.

Well checking my old PC (need to get my addons and interface settings) got the last screenshoots from my last day playing, got like:
-Royal crests: 60
-Invader crests: 29
-Vanq medallion: 116
-Vanq emblem: 242
-Conq medallion: 630
-Conq emblem: 51

Today my char got 438 war crests in exchange for all these currency...really seems a bit low. If i do the math with the ratio posted in the thread linked, my old currency its supossed to get between 1700-1900 war crests (depend if emblems are converted too or only medallions):

Someone got any issue like this? what are the convert ratios from old currncy posted?

TBH I don't know that much about crest conversion because it happens once and it was years ago
