DoK end game stuff

Hello all,
I juste reached rr75 on DoK and i'm looking at my bis stuff.
I'm playing rvr from 2 fg to WB
To my understanding i have 3 choices.
*8-1 Full sov. Kind of range build with the active regen (meh skill from what i hear?)
*7-2 (Triumph boot). Kind of middle of the road build. Loosing active regen for crit. So i have to use more smite and play less far away.
*5-4 more close range build. More tankiness but definitly need more smite and more risky.
I like playing near the ball, so my gameplay pref would be 5-4. Is there someone playing this already and can give me some input ?
What do you think is the better build ?

yeah, i'm playing a 5/4 (sov/tri) build... all talis but two are +24 wound, and two +24 wp.
buffed (heal power/wp lini) i have ~1100 wounds, 1000 wp, 40% heal crit (rvr reward + blood coil replica w/+4% crit tali).
i definitely play mid/close range heals, and this toon is a LOT of fun. the wound tankiness is great, esp now that post-patch soul infusion is castable while moving. you just need to keep an eye out for dps pushing you, and then punt/detaunt/kite away.

Really for open rvr efficient patching is not worth (IMO), there are tooooo many thnigs to cleanse...i usually switch for restored motivation or fueled actions.

Full sov is meh imo esp after ability patch rework. Before that was 180 rf which again wasn't something special but new amount of 90 is worthless low.
For me 5/4 is bis but 10k take some time untill there will use 5 onslaught and 3 sov which is all around solid. Wanted to test 7 sov 2 lotd cloack set but that will delay triumph ring so wont go for it.
About the spec i prefer torture for the cov tactic since i use it often when duo and on pve but other way is good pick also

in my experience, i find that the ailments and hexes are a major source of incoming damage and whatnot and i try to keep my party free of them as much as possible...
but for kicks, i just did some pug stuff w/a couple of wbs and switched out efficient patching for fueled actions just to see how it played... it was quite different -- i really didn't need to worry about managing my soul essence, which was really nice. this meant more incoming damage from hex/ails, and i had to "heal harder" to keep everyone up. a bit more of a frantic, but fun play style, but it seemed to always teeter on the edge of disaster. i'd be running around, frantically keeping myself and the rest of my party up.
with efficient patching, i continually group cleanse, and then only spam heals when needed. i typically play close-mid, so i'm continually using essence lash/pillage essence to top off my pool and a LOT of detaunt. since there's less damage and debuffs coming in, my heals are more effective but again: managing the pool. it also feels a lot more chill to play overall.
regarding heal numbers: they seem about the same.
i'll play a bit more w/fueled actions so i have a sample size > 1.

for weap/chalice: fortress, or if you're not there yet the best RVR you can weild.

head/back/jewl
imo bis is fortress sword and scenario blue chalice from dominator npc
for orvr - sentinel influence chalice with resist proc is also decent it pop quite alot with khaine refreshment on tons of ppl and last 15-20 sec (cant remember exact number)
