Return of Reckoning

I see some players around with the 7 day lasting renown buff— how do you get this? I know it has to do with switching sides to the one with AAO but it’s very inconsistent and I don’t see it getting applied now as often. Can anyone point out, do you need a certain percentage AAO or certain number of players in the zone for the buff to apply? I’ve tried to get the buff recently but every time it didn’t work like it did before.

Any help would be appreciated!!

If you are playing the overpopulated side, and swap to the underdog side and rvr you get a 7 day buff. Last I heard, but yeah it is not consistent

Problem is, today, I played on the side with AAO for at least an hour, and even with switching to the underdog side, I still didn't get the buff. It's definitely not consistent. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

My suspicion is the following:

-need the zone population to be at least 10-24 on both sides
-need at least 40%AAO

-Need to remember that you often get locked out for 90 minutes so just keep that in mind when trying to swap

Honestly idk if it’s worth all the effort trying to get that boost, but will keep trying because it’s better than paying a crap ton of gold for the renown boosting items lol.

I think there are a few quests in Dwarf/Green city for renown potions, and you can pick from weekly event rewards as well.
