Return of Reckoning

Hi Devs

Reading the forums there a number of changes already made to a variety of classes, the orc tank being the latest.

I've yet to see any mention of WH changes - can you confirm they are on the radar to be reviewed?

Hey Kaldus— not a dev (obviously), but I would imagine potentially soon, or not for a very long time.

There was a roadmap posted in a patch note update several months ago, that showed they're looking at healer rebalance, then tank, then damage dealers.

So far we have indeed seen changes to Zealots and Rune Priests, along with Blorc and KoBs.

Based on this logic, that schedule might indicate DPS changes incoming, where WH might get a look at... I currently have a gut feeling it'll be Slayer instead though.

However— despite me playing, loving, and hoping for postive changes for Witch Hunter, I would be a lot happier if the next changes were to healers again, as Warrior Priest/DoK are definitely needing some attention.

That being said, the last part of the roadmap was "iconic specs overhaul" which might sort out a few careers. Hard to say.

Of course, Witch Hunters will also be reviewed. Every class will be discussed.

Yes please make WH fun again

been a sad day mythic decided to port rogue class from wow to aor. complete with 5 point combo system and stealth that doesnt fit neither career. witch elves were always shock troops in warhmmaer lore while witch hunters always made their presence known. oh well. maybe they make them cool in the rework

Slayer needs work alot more than WH does

With the changes to Ini, stealth has been nerfed into the ground, people would rarely see you previously and now I'm constantly getting buzzed by Choppas. Hard to play around an assassin playstyle when you're always visible.

Boohoo, poor slayers who had been on top of the world for the longest of any mdps there. Oh look, it is order wb with slayer, everyone gets a cooldown to their instant abilities! Oh, do they also do amazing aoe damage with a dot that pulses on target at everyone around them putting gorillion pressure on the enemy zerg! Oh, do they have over 9000 weapon skill with 100% armor penetration plus 99% parry chance, and oh does that riposte work with their career ability, 750dmg riposte hits wopee doo. Oh, you think you can defend against a slayer? Not today they will strike through all your defenses with an ability. Oh, is that a 6-man with 2 slayers as their dps, how come?!

Honestly, slayers had a glorious run from live till most of the private server. At least have some decency to be in a bad shape for a little while.

he already is and he is damn strong as well

Currently, wh/w.e are OP. Their back stab ignore 100% armor. I think this needs to be nerfed to 25% or something like that because almost all armor penetration tactics were nerfed. Having spammable 100% armor penetration for free is totally too strong.
