I keep hearing that flanking doesnt stack with 50% rage damage, resulting in only 7-8% increase, instead of 15% as stated in the tooltip
Is this true? If so, is this intented behavior?

Unless something was changed recentely class mechanics and tactics should stack.
For example for choppa and slayer jagged edge, riposte should benefit from theyr rage mechanics. That was trade off for being utterly squishy in full rage.
On other hand flanking or loner should NOT increase damage procs off jagged edge because both are tactics and tactics shouldnt affect each other.

Neither riposte or je stacks with rage after patch

Nor reckless gamble or retribution reflect damage. Same for Choppa versions.

Additive damage!
Slayer/Choppa 100% [base] + 50% [rage] + 5% [bloodlord] = 155% damage.
155 + 15% [Flanking] = 170%.
170/155 [comparing the difference in new vs old] = 1.097
Flanking therefore gives 9.7% MORE damage to a red Choppa with Bloodlord.

I have differend question but involved Flanking Tactic and don't want to make new post.
When i use ID from behind it shows (dmg+15%) but when i turn in front of target(or target turn to face me) it deal only (dmg) without this flanking bonus. Assuming that this positioning "check" works as intended- or ID should have always Flanking bonus when apply from behind even when i/target move.
And another one- ID deal AoE dmg. And should flanking apply to targets hited by AoE from ID on the back? At that moment flanking bonus is not added to ID AoE dmg.
I assume that phrase "You strike" is decisive but should it be like that? I assume that not " I/ME " hit the target- but "ability" hits the target. So all "facing checks" are made from my position but "abbility hits the targets even if i don't "hit" the target- i see inconsistency there.
I ask about clarification because in this game is planty of hidden calculation/tests/internalcooldown ect. and exceptions not described in ability description. And even if player will read abbility discription and make principles of correct reasoning the abbility can works differend.

There is no snapshotting in the game. There once was, but now: not.
That means every tick of ID on every target will check if your position relative to the target hit is a 1 or 0 for Flanking.

So Flanking for ID checks YOUR position related to the target, and not the enemy that is carrying the ID around? I didn't know that.

Ye its not "that good" as people think it is.
To sum up my previous "word spagetti" i assume ther is no Flanking multiply because of AoE from ID hits target who was turn backwards. Thats how i understand what wrote Uchoo. All the time Xdmg + 15% flanking if target is turn backwards or when IDs AoE hits target turned backwards. Am i right ?
