The problem with scenarios is that there is no problem.

The game is designed for people to team up and use voice com. Only then does the full potential unfold.
Mixing premades and randoms will always lead to a problem. Premades will always have the advantage of voice com.
What are these advantages? Rune priests/zealot buffs, healers who call in when they have trouble, tanks who coordinate with the punts or guard, main assist who leads the group, composition of classes that complement each other, and so on.
If you put a warband of randoms against warband in voice com, what are the odds of the randoms winning?

Unfortunately, the current zeitgeist is that players refuse to organize themselves, make friends and play together. Then people complain that it's unfair because the premades do it. I think it's unfair that the players who organize themselves are always cast in a negative light. After all, the game is not a single player but an MMORPG. There was Wrath of Heroes back then. Entertaining fun, you could queue solo (even if groups had a small advantage). What I'm trying to say is that it doesn't do justice to the game and its complexity if you ignore the social component. Last but not least, I would like to say that this is exactly what I personally enjoy about computer games: playing together with others.

Play your absolutely unique way, nobody is prohibiting you to. Que solo for weekend warfront, no problems. Just accept and maturely meet the consequences. Your choice.

Yeah, much better to shoehorn one of the last remaining real PvP MMOs into MyLittlePonyAdventureOnline. Cool stuff.
Also dead server, dead game, dead scenarios have absolutely different reasons. If you'd be playing this game in group and knew groups that play this game you would know for sure why they stop. Its nothing connected to "oh my gosh, i struggle to do SCs solo again" anyhow.

The lack of player count doesn't convince you to learn then nothing will.

You exactly being unable to get a grasp of what to do in this game to have succes/win is only your's problem. Not system, not game nor its mechanic. If you cant grasp a simple truth that you have to properly group up to increase your succes in a group PvP MMO and on top of that you have problems to group up then this game is clearly not for you man.

You exactly being unable to get a grasp of what to do in this game to have succes/win is only your's problem. Not system, not game nor its mechanic. make ranked mandatory, or make scenarios group only, so they can finally stop dodging each others.

Cross-realm scenario for solo que would be fun to try and would help with forming balanced groups for solo discordant que's of course!
