Return of Reckoning

As i gather in 2021-22 came unified currency patch. I read that medals were converted to red coins, when i logged in i didnt get them.
Was there and expiration date on conversion, can i still claim them? Last played in 2017, returned to reckoning to became poor

The royal crests had the highest conversion rate so the lower were basically useless
