Hello, I am 2H Chosen about to hit 40 and am wondering if I need to swap to SnB to MT BB/BE and BS. Will be using Conq gear for BB/BE, is that enough gear to MT with 2h? Or should I go SnB for fresh 40?

Let's say it is less optimal, because conq gives block, which you can't use with 2h.

4 conq/3 redeye is what we used back in the day. It's fine, just stack up wounds talis and use all the parry pieces you have & parry jewelry. I've never tanked any PvE in this game with a shield. If you're not confident, just run with 2 tanks and have them Guard you as needed.

There is no reason not to go snb with that gear. Just take a green lvl 40 shield and go. You can solo tank BBBE with conq and MT BS if you go snb.

This damage is still better than 1h - which means that you'll spend less time doing pve. And its funny to outdps your "dps" sometimes. Had some fun doing Gb and being top dps as BG (no, i'm not sov geared, and those 3 dps were 2 choppas and rsh).

I will be doing other things then just pve, so being 2h for those is good.

Both sets are bad though. Beastlord is completely worthless - no wards + ws for chosen...yeah right...just go for merc+wounds talis...redeye is somewhat "better" if you have a few wounds talis to spare.

you need BL for HV and HV is pretty good.
also it's basicly for free so you have some equipment for GB and maybe even BB/BE
safe your crest for better stuff

yes WS is kind of useless but also not since it provides at least a bit of parry which is not too bad as a 2h chosen
