Forum help question

Where I change the option for allowing to show more than 10 posts in the same page? Going through every 10 post is messy for me. I like to see 50 posts in the same pages. I know all forums usually came with that option through the control panel but the option is not there at all. So I assumed that it on the front page and I have to change it from there (some forum do this). Nope, it not there at all. It just like the option is intentionally disabled.
