So on my RP I speced Path of Grimnir, but then after a while I decided I want to go on Path of Grungni. When I changed, I didn't get the AP regen rune and still have the groupheal. Do I have to find the specific trainer I learned masteries at? Because I don't remember which one it was

Respec is possible at the same trainer where you can assign you skillpoints. they're located at the temple of sigmar in altdorf.

I know and I did, but as I say, the spells didn't switch. I still have groupheal instead of AP regen.

AP-regen? You mean going up that path or actually obtaining the ground rune because that spell is only available at lvl 21.

you have to invest another skill point to buy the actual skill. you then get the skill in addition to your current skills. there is no "switching".

I just don't understand where's the obstruction. Do we not get the Master runes at all???

No, you don't get the master runes at this lvl. Reason: you have to spend another point to actually gain the ability. A point which you don't own at this lvl. It's just enough to get to it.

So what's the line there for?

I suppose it's just to clearly show the mastery level the ability/tactic is at. You only increase the power of abilities (e.g. damage) by going up a level in the respective tree, but you have to spend an extra point to actually obtain a new ability/tactic.
So you have to choose, e.g. if you had 7 mastery points, you could either go all the way up 7 levels (and not get any ability/tac from the tree) or, for example, you could go up 5 levels and spend your last 2 points to get the 1st tac and ability (at mastery lvl 3 and 5 respectively). Hope that makes sense.
