LOTD expedition resouce

Hi guys an girls. so i have been told i should get expedition resouces from just doing RvR, ALL i do is RvR but i have 0 of the resouce wich is locking me out of LOTD. is this a thing? am i alone here? just lookin for info. lvl 40/55Renown if if it makes a differnce.

Make sure your loot settings have "need" on currency.
